Terms and Conditions

At Manna House TSL, we are committed to creating a Christ-centered, structured environment where young men (ages 18–30) can build a solid foundation for long-term recovery and independent living. These Terms and Conditions outline the expectations for all residents and are in place to protect the integrity of the home, the safety of our community, and the spiritual and personal growth of each man we serve.
By joining the Manna House program, you agree to follow all house rules and responsibilities, as outlined here and in the resident handbook. These standards are in full alignment with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
1. Program Participation

Residents must be male, 18–30 years old, and committed to both sobriety and personal growth.

Program duration may be up to one (1) year, depending on individual progress, accountability, and compliance with house guidelines.

Residents are expected to actively participate in a faith-based recovery environment, including daily structure, meetings, spiritual development, and service within the house.
2. Sobriety Commitment

Complete abstinence from alcohol, illicit substances, and non-prescribed medications is required.

Random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted. Failed or refused tests may lead to immediate dismissal.

Residents are required to attend one 12-Step meeting per day and obtain a sponsor to support ongoing recovery.
3. Employment & Financial Responsibility

Residents are expected to secure employment within 10 days of arrival unless otherwise approved.

Monthly rent is $2,000, paid in two equal payments of $1,000 on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Pro-rated rent may apply for residents entering mid-payment cycle.

Residents are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and personal expenses.
4. House Rules & Conduct

All residents must follow posted and written House Rules, including guidelines for curfew, guests, and respectful behavior.

Mutual respect is expected between residents, staff, and the home environment.

Each resident is assigned daily chores and is expected to contribute to meal preparation and attend family-style dinners as part of building a supportive household.
5. Confidentiality & Privacy

Resident information is held in strict confidence in accordance with Virginia privacy laws.

Residents must respect the privacy of others, including not sharing personal or recovery-related information outside the home.
6. Grounds for Dismissal
Manna House reserves the right to remove any resident for the following:

Use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or contraband

Violent, threatening, or unsafe behavior

Repeated failure to follow program expectations

Violation of house rules or conduct that disrupts the unity of the home
Dismissals are handled with fairness and compassion, but protecting the safety and growth of the entire household is our top priority.
7. Legal Compliance
Manna House operates in full compliance with Virginia state laws governing sober living and residential recovery programs. All residents must obey local, state, and federal laws. Any illegal activity will be reported to the proper authorities.
8. Agreement to Terms
By entering the Manna House TSL program, residents acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Participation is voluntary but requires a commitment to the structure, values, and expectations of the program.
